Product Description

The exceptionally efficient, cost-effective Premier® MAX Smart Hybrid Electric Heat Pump water heater can deliver larger volumes of hot water using innovative smart valve technology and Hot Water+ customized operating modes. The HPAX-50-DHPT provides peace of mind with smart sensor leak detection, automatic water shutoff, and 10-year limited tank and parts warranty. 

 

4x more efficient, the HPAX-50-DHPT heat pump delivers savings by using heat from the surrounding air to heat water; saving up to $600 per year on operating costs compared to standard electric water heaters of similar capacity. This model features a 50-gallon (nominal) tank with a 3.68 Uniform Energy Factor (UEF), is ENERGY STAR® certified, and Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) Tier 4 qualified. 

 

Premium features including vacation mode and guest mode save you money by adjusting to hot water demand in the home. Two heating elements enable the water heater to recover quickly during periods of high demand. 

 

Premier® MAX heat pump water heaters are residential products built to commercial-grade standards. The Premier® MAX has advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining, and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater.
