Another season of NASCAR racing is upon us, and as always, the world’s best stock car drivers will head to Daytona International Speedway for the Great American Race — the Daytona 500.
The entire State Water Heaters sports team has waited patiently, and we’re excited to hear the engines roar for the 2015 Sprint Cup season.
The Daytona 500 is the biggest race of the NASCAR season, and the action can be seen at 1 p.m. Sunday on Fox.
It’s the 57th edition of the Daytona 500, and racing fans have plenty of story lines to follow.
Fun fact: While the Daytona 500 started running in 1959, the 2.5-mile tri-oval didn’t become the NASCAR opener until 1982.
